The Iron Sprue is Alton's dedicated home for tabletop gaming — a place to buy, paint, play, and belong.
The Name
A sprue is the frame on which miniatures are cast — the bit left over when you clip them free. But say it out loud and it sounds like something else entirely: a tavern from a Dungeons & Dragons adventure. And every great D&D campaign, as any veteran will tell you, starts in a pub.
That duality — craft and community, grit and imagination — is exactly what The Iron Sprue is built on.
